What is the child ticketing policy?
A child ticket is available for children between the ages of 3–15. Children under 3 may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 16.
Do I need to specify a date for travel?
Yes. You’ll need to select your travel date when booking. However, if your plans change, your ticket may still be valid for a flexible period — please check the details on your voucher.
Are buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes. All buses have wheelchair access on the lower deck, with space for one wheelchair (no mobility scooters). The total weight (passenger, assistant, and mobility aid) must not exceed 300 kg (660 lb). Please contact Big Bus Tours in advance to confirm suitability.
Where does the Night Tour depart from?
From Stop #1 (Circular Quay), Corner of George St & Alfred St, The Rocks. Arrive 15 minutes before the 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM departure.
Can I hop off during the Night Tour?
No. The Night Tour is a continuous panoramic tour with no stops.
Is the Harbour Cruise flexible?
Yes. The Captain Cook Cruise is a hop-on, hop-off service—perfect for exploring Sydney from the water.
How can I request a refund?
If you booked directly with Big Bus Tours, please request your refund via the Big Bus Tours App or the enquiry form on our website. If you booked through a third-party partner, please contact the original provider to arrange your refund.
How do I activate my ticket?
Activate your ticket on the Big Bus Tours app on the day of travel. Show the activated ticket to the driver to board. If you can’t activate via the app, show your printed ticket or QR code to staff to receive a paper ticket.
